Crafted -The Art of The Taco Opens in Downtown Greensboro
Greensboro, NC – An exciting restaurant concept opened last week on S. Elm Street in Downtown. Crafted, “A New Taco Joint”, is the vision of the mother and daughter team of Rhonda and Kristina Fuller, who also own The Bistro at Adams Farm, a popular fine dining establishment. Crafted (219-A S. Elm) offers patrons a variety of gourmet, made-from-scratch tacos and other tasty menu items in a casual setting.
The restaurant’s signature tacos feature fresh ingredients and offers meat toppings such as braised beef, chicken, or pulled pork. Other toppings include shrimp ceviche, fish, tuna and meat substitutes. The restaurant also has vegan options such as freshly prepared tofu and stuffed avocado tacos.
Other features include low country nachos, breakfast tacos, salads and the “one and only” hamburger that is topped with aged white cheddar pimento cheese. Unique appetizers include sweet potato chips topped with pulled pork and Mason of Bacon, which is Neese’s bacon, dipped in salted caramel and dusted with cracked pepper.
The renovated interior has table and countertop service in a colorful and relaxed setting. If convenience is needed, one can also order meals “to go.” Crafted also has a large selection of both specialty and domestic beers on tap and in cans and bottles. They also have wine.
Crafted is family friendly and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The operating hours will expand in November with dinner hours and nightly specials. For more information call (336) 273-0030 or visit the Downtown Greensboro website for more information on upcoming events and store openings.
